Pros: Excellent IQ, ring USM
Cons: expensive
In the end, I couldn't justify the $250 premium for this lens over Sigma's 10-20mm EX HSM. Optically, the 10-22mm is L-quality, it simply lacks the quality L build and the red ring. AF is fast and accurate, and sharpness exceeds that of the Sigma wide open and stopped down. But $750? Really Canon?

Pros: Great lens for the money!
Cons: Wish it could be a little wider, and feel a little higher quality.
I LOVE this lens. It gives a damn cool perspective to your shots and allows you to mix it up a little. It also gives that extra width you need when you're in a really tight spot. Great value for the money! I only wish it was a 2.8 rather than 3.5-4.5.
