Pros: broad focal range
Cons: bokeh, abberation, poor colour
The price of this lens is definitely better spent toward a lens a step up or on an affordable prime, even for a beginner.
It produces mostly acceptable images if used in ideal light conditions, but even then the bokeh is distractingly unattractive. I definitely would not recommend this lens for any purpose.
