Pros:  subtle tones reporduction is fantastic
Cons:  Not an especially high resolver

All the plus points are there, great bokeh etc However I found myself wishing it had higher resolving power than the 17-40 zoom, which it doesn't. It is as good as but not better. I hope they upgrade it.

The corners of course are much better than the zoom but the thing i notice when looking back at shots taken with this lens is the beautifully rich and subtle rendition of tones, it does that better than the zoom

I sold it because I no longer needed the wide aperture at that FL. However if the bring out a mk2 version that has higher resolving power I will get that, because of the beauty of the light it delivers

Pros:  Great fast lens that has outstanding sharpness even wide open
Cons:  price

This is an expensive piece of glass but if you really like to shoot available light whenever possible this is a real jewel. I have a couple of Canon 5Ds and this lens just shines on a FF camera. Focus is fast and accurate but be aware that if you use the center point wide open if you shift your composition you could loose focus. Sometimes manual focus when the lens is wide open and the subject is near the edges is the best way to go.
