Pros: Wide,sharp, exquisite build
Cons: Doesn't take front filters (polariser)
Cons: not really much wider than the 17-40L in practice. Doesn't take a polarising filter.
Pros: Build quality is mouthwatering. Image quality is excellent (stopped down). EDGE quality is MUCH better than the 17-40L
I bought this expecting it to be noticeably wider than the 17-40L. Because it wasn't I returned it. That's not a fault with the lens - I should have done more research.
